A little bit about us...

AFTER SCHOOL, SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, SATURDAY & FRIDAY

Kidspace is exactly that - A space where every child feels they belong, are safe, welcome and are free to have FUN !

And, they can have a break from their normal school environment.

We have amazing programs after school, every Saturday, school holidays & every month on Friday nights.

Our experienced teaching team deliver exciting, age specific programs which will leave your child asking to come back again and again. Children from all schools are welcome.

Kidspace is conveniently located in the centre of Caloundra's sports & recreation precinct, close to many of our city's great child based facilities.

We offer a wide range of inexpensive daily incursions & excursions - all of which provide valuable learning and life experiences for your child. These vary from program to program, but may include - Swimming, 10 Pin Bowling, Ice Skating, Rock Climbing, Archery, Trampolining, Challenge Ropes, Go-Karting and many more !

Our centre based activities include Art & Craft workshops, Ball Sports, Dance Classes, Cooking experiences, Table Tennis, Movies and much more !

Our daily program is informed and developed based on children's current interests.

Kidspace is approved by the Queensland Department of Education, and our program is developed from the ‘My Time, Our Place' Framework for School Aged Care.

As an Approved Provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), our service is authorised by the Queensland Government to administer the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) which provides families with financial assistance to help meet the cost of our OSHC Service.

The Ins And Outs of How We Do Business

What do I need to bring?

A water bottle, enclosed shoes, hat, backpack, activity dependent clothing (eg, swimming - togs, towel, goggles) We do provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea*, with water facilties on site. (If you child has dietary requirements, please advise our staff)
How do I make or amend a booking?

We use a dedicated app to manage all bookings. First time parents will need to complete the enrolment form <here> before recieving the account login details.</here> All parents will recieve detailed instuctions upon enrolment for app usage. What are your opening hours?

Please view our hours below: OSHC: Monday-Friday: - Before-School: 6am-9am - After-School: 3pm-7pm Vacation Care: Monday-Saturday: 6am-7pm Friday Nights: Friday: 4pm-10pm
Are you educators qualified?

Yes! All of our educators are either qualified or in their last year or university. They all hold a current blue card (working with children) with first aid, CPR, child safety training and food safety certificates Our educators are overseen by a fully qualified and accredited educational leader with a current blue card, advanced CPR, first aid training, child safety training and a food safety certificate. All of our educators work with our children to provide a safe, fun and engaging environment.
Can you pick up/drop off my child(ren) from/to school

Yes! Our OSHC is equipped with a bus to pick up/drop off child(ren) from/to school. This bus leaves from our centre in Caloundra and stops at our feeder schools. For more information and to view the timetable, please click <here></here>
